Hi guys it’s Dan here, and today we’re going to be showing you a Green Rubber Tarmac Playground Surfacing in Ashbourne, Derbyshire Dales.

So for this job, the client got in touch with us interested in having a brand new outdoor play area flooring fitted at their school.

A member of their staff let us know that their biggest priority was to ensure the children were safe during play, but they also wanted something colourful and capable of withstanding out harsher seasons here in the UK.

After showing the client the surface types we could offer them, it was quickly agreed that the perfect surface solution for them would be EPDM wetpour rubber.

Wetpour, sometimes called rubber tarmac, is a flat spongy rubber surface ideal for play areas, largely because of its excellent safety qualities.

So we received a call from the owner of this playground in Southampton looking to have a surface fitted. They let us know that the safety and colour of the surface was a priority for them.

So for this work we were contacted by this company that were interested in having a large safety surface fitted for their outdoor play area. They specified that safety was key for them, and so we showed them the different surface options that we could offer them.

It was soon agreed that EPDM rubber wetpour surfacing would be the optimum choice for their needs, and that was the case for many reasons.

Firstly, wetpour is a rubber surface that is designed with safety in mind. We were contacted by the owner of the playground, and they wanted a new surface for their facility, looking for a flooring that was customisable but kept the safety of the children in mind.

We discussed that they had several options for the surface that we could offer them, and we proceeded to agree that wetpour would be perfect for what they were looking for.
