Hi guys it’s Dan here, and today we’re going to be showing you a Multisport Synthetic Long Jump Installation in Oxford.

There are many options available to you when choosing your ideal long jump facility, and arguably the most important is which company carries out the work.

We were contacting by this school that were looking for a multi lane long jump to be fitted on their open field. They wanted a surface well-suited to the sport, but that could deal with our unpredictable weather conditions here in the UK.

We opted to fit a multisport synthetic surface for their runway, which is an artificial flooring that offers tremendous playability for long jump and triple surfaces, perfect for schools and sports clubs throughout the country.

Multisport synthetic is also extremely well suited to being an outdoor surface due to it being porous, ideal for places such as this open field.

We can fit these runways in basically any colour you like, and we’ll fit a sand pit cover as part of the install to ensure the pit is protected throughout all seasons.

So this work was carried out at a school, who got in contact with us wanting a new sports surface to replace their old worn-out facility.

Their old flooring had started to become dangerous, so the client’s biggest priority was the ensure their new flooring was extremely safe to use.

Additionally, the owner of the school wanted to have something with excellent playability characteristics for the sports of their choice, whilst able to be durable enough for our UK winters too.

Here at Soft Surfaces, we’re experts at building sports pitches of all kinds across the UK, and for this job, it was agreed with the school that the best option for them would be a multisport synthetic.
