So for those with existing play area surfaces, many times owners will look to have their existing surface excavated prior to a new flooring being fitted ,but here at Soft Surfaces, a lot of times we’re actually able to carry out a complete overlay to your existing facility.

For this particular job, the client wanted to change their old, worn out hard surface to a much safer playground flooring better suited to the outdoors.

We were contacted by the owner of the playground, and they wanted a new surface for their facility, looking for a flooring that was customisable but kept the safety of the children in mind.

We discussed that they had several options for the surface that we could offer them, and we proceeded to agree that wetpour would be perfect for what they were looking for.

So the first big benefit of opting for a wetpour flooring to be fitted as your playground surfacing is that it’s a porous system, meaning it’s able to absorb rain throughout our difficult weather conditions in the UK.

So this work was carried out at a residential park, and the client wanted a new safety surface for their playground that also helped to improve the general aesthetics of the area.

So for this job, the client was a school and was looking to have a brand new colourful play area surfacing installed outside their facility.

They wanted to ensure that the surface they had fitted was safe for the children to use, and helped enhance playtime at their school.

With this actual installation we carried out the work at a small nursery, and they were looking to turn their outdoor area into an educational playground for the children to be using at breaktime and lunchtime.

We gave them an overview of the wetpour surfacing we can fit, and once they knew the benefits we were booked in right away to complete the job for them.
