Hi guys it’s Dan here, and today we’re going to be showing you a MultiSport Synthetic Surface Install in Oxford.

So this work was carried out at a school, who got in contact with us wanting a new sports surface to replace their old worn-out facility.

Their old flooring had started to become dangerous, so the client’s biggest priority was the ensure their new flooring was extremely safe to use.

Additionally, the owner of the school wanted to have something with excellent playability characteristics for the sports of their choice, whilst able to be durable enough for our UK winters too.

Here at Soft Surfaces, we’re experts at building sports pitches of all kinds across the UK, and for this job, it was agreed with the school that the best option for them would be a multisport synthetic.

Hi guys it’s Dan here, and today we’re going to be showing you a Nursery School Green Wetpour Overlay in Gloucester.

So this work was installed at a nursery, which had an existing playground flooring that was beginning to wear and show signs of age.

They wanted to have new flooring installed, but weren’t sure whether a resurface was needed. They got in contact with us, and we explained what we could do for them.

So after assessing their existing surface, we determined that once their flooring was given a professional clean and contamination removal by our team, we were able to actually fit an overlay onto their surface without the need for resurfacing

This meant that the client’s play area surfacing could return to its best, and also gave them the freedom to choose new colours and a new design for their play area should they wish to.

The surface type we used for this job was wetpour floorings. This flooring type has many benefits, including the fact that it’s very safe for children to play on, and it’s porous, absorbing rainfall throughout the year.

This is because wetpour is made up of an EPDM rubber material, making it spongy and absorbent, ideal for outdoor play areas here in the United Kingdom.

Hi guys it’s Dan here, and today we’re going to be showing you an Outdoor Sports Surface Clean & Paint in Glasgow.

So this work was carried out at an old outdoor tennis court, which has become very worn out and contaminated from a significant lack of use and maintenance.

The owner of the surface sent us an email to discuss their options, and initially feared that their flooring may need a resurfacing.

Upon further inspection, we were glad to let them know that we could restore their surface back to its best with our specialist cleaning and painting services.

So this process first involves our team removing all contamination buildup from the flooring using our professional jet wash, this ensures that all moss, algae and any other surface dirt is fully eradicated.

Next up, we proceed to repair any small areas needed, to make sure the surface is prepared for painting. With surfaces such as this where repairs are minimum, this makes a cleaning and painting much easier.

And finally, we then repaint the surface in whatever colour you choose, with the line markings to match your chosen sport. We use high quality anti slip paint, guaranteed to be long lasting and brilliant for sport.

So for this job we were emailed by the school that own this area, and wanted to create an outdoor playground that was safe for children to be using.

We discussed wetpour surfacing with them, and it’s many benefits as a play area flooring option. Before we knew it, we were on site installing the bespoke works.

So for this job, the client got in touch with us interested in having a brand new outdoor play area flooring fitted at their school.

A member of their staff let us know that their biggest priority was to ensure the children were safe during play, but they also wanted something colourful and capable of withstanding out harsher seasons here in the UK.

Hi guys it’s Dan here, and today we’re going to be showing you a Black Wetpour & Artificial Turf Construction at a Nursery in Essex.

So for this job the client wanted to have both a safety surface fitted for their play area, but also wanted artificial grass fitted to maintain a natural look without the upkeep of natural grass.

We broke down the surfacing options that we could install for them, as well as the costs, and soon after we were cracking on with the works.

So it was mutually agreed with the nursery that for their playground flooring, wetpour surfacing would be their best option. This surface consists of an EPDM rubber, and as a result makes it one of the best safety surfaces available in the UK.

It’s rubber qualities means that it’s a very safe flooring, meeting the critical fall height (of CFH) requirements needed for outdoor play areas in the UK.

It’s also a flooring type that works well as an outdoor surface because its rubber make-up means it’s actually porous, absorbing rainfall during our more challenging months.
