Hi guys its Dan here, and today we’re going to be showing you a Wetpour Sports Court Flooring in Dartmouth, Devon.

So this job we were contacted by the owner of this sports facility that wanted to replace their old hard court flooring with something safer and brighter.

We explained the benefits of our wetpour surfacing, as well as the various colour and design options they had for the flooring, and we were booked in soon after to install the job.

During our discussion, we broke down why wetpour is such a popular outdoor safety surface here in the UK. The first reason being due to it’s porous qualities.

Wetpour is a surface consisting of EPDM rubber, and because of this it’s a porous system. Rainwater is absorbed by the flooring during our rainy months, and therefore the risks of floods are hugely reduced with wetpour.

So for this job the client owned this outdoor swimming pool and needed a new surrounding safety surface for the area.

Their priority was to make sure the new flooring fitted was extremely safe, but they also wanted a surface that could brighten up their existing area.

So for this work, the client got in contact with us and had a hard surface that they wanted transforming into a sports court surfacing.

Their flooring had built up some contamination over the years, and as a result was in need of a professional clean prior to transforming the surface.

So here at Soft Surfaces, we’ve offered our sports court cleaning and painting services nationwide for over 20 years, and are happy to have become market leaders for this service.

So for the client’s flooring, we went about carrying our professional jetwash cleaning of the surface, ensuring any moss, algae and dirt that had embedded into the surface was fully removed, and making sure the flooring was prepared for painting.

In terms of the painting we can offer for sports court, this particular job acts as a great example that we can take a plain surface and turn it into vibrant, fully functional multi use games area.

Our team use specialist anti slip paint to ensure playing sport on the hard court feels great, whilst keep those using the area safe.

The owner of this area wanted to have a court where multiple sports could be played, and as you can see from these images here, we carried out this multi-coloured paint with various line markings to enable those using the surface to play many different games on the facility.

So we did this job for this client who owned this large hard court area, and were interested in a colour coating applied for tennis use.

Here at Soft Surfaces we’re able to turn your area into a fully functional tennis court, without the need for resurfacing.

Our team have been working on sports surfaces such as these nationwide for over 20 years now, and we’re proud to be a market leader within the industry.

For job such as this, the process begins with our team ensuring the flooring is fully cleaned prior to painting. This is really important, as it makes sure the area is rid of any moss, algae, dirt and more that could have embedded itself into the flooring.

After that, we go about carrying out any small repairs to the surface if needed, again, to make sure the flooring is fully prepared for painting and line marking.

So you can see from these before photos that the client’s old surface was particularly worn out, with areas of damage and moss build up on the flooring. They got in touch with us to see what we can do, and it went from there.

So from observing their images of their surface, we let the client know that a complete resurfacing was not necessary, and that our cleaning and painting services would help bring the surface back to life.

With the cleaning and painting we offer to sports courts, we carry out a process involving thoroughly cleaning the surface, fixing any small repairs needed and then finally applying our anti-slip paint in the colour or colours you’d like.

For this particular job, once the professional cleaning and repair services had been carried out, the next step was to apply the green, purple and red anti-slip painting that the client specified. They also wanted to ensure that the line-markings applied were perfect for a netball facility, so we designed that with them prior to the install.

So for this work, the owner of this sports surface got in touch with us citing that it had become worn and damaged overtime from lack of use.

They had concerns that their sports court would need a complete resurfacing, however after we inspected their flooring we determined that we could bring their surface back to life with a professional clean and paint.

Our specialist cleaning and painting service can take an old unusable surface and fully restore it, making it excellent to play on yet again.

The first step of this process is for the surface to undergo a deep clean using from our professional jet wash. This removes absolutely all mud, moss, algae and surface build up, ensuring it’s ready to be painted on.

So you’ll see here from these photos that this installation was carried out at a small nursery, and required us to remove the existing worn surface to replace it with a bespoke safety flooring for their children to use.

We were approached by this nursery who wanted a brand new safety surface for their pupils to play on during the day.

Hi guys it’s Dan here, and today we’re going to be showing you a Rubber Playground Flooring With Artificial Grass in Worthing, West Sussex.

So this small nursery had an outdoor space that they were looking to use as an outdoor play area, and were looking for both a safety surface for the youngsters, but also an artificial grass to provide a natural look.

They got in touch with us, and we proceeded to show the client all of the options they had available. It was then decided that wetpour rubber surfacing would be ideal for their safety surfaces, with a high quality synthetic surfacing fitted alongside.

So for their play area, wetpour was a brilliant choice, largely down to its EPDM rubber material. This material makes wetpour surfacing soft and spongy under foot, and massively reduces the chances of serious injury when playing on this flooring.

Also, because it’s rubber, this flooring is porous and soaks up rain all year round. Again, this makes it ideal as an outdoor surface, particularly here in our country where weather is often unpredictable.
